Escrow agreement

Stuart Nield from Lowick McKay asked:

I have recently been contacted by a company wanting to sell me an Escrow agreement to cover my Lawbyte software. Is this something that users should be looking into? What are the implications to our software rights should Edgebyte go into liquidation.
Please advise.

the Lawbyte User Group hold a copy of the source code to lawbyte - if anything happened to Edgebyte (hopefully it won't) - then the user group would not be left in the lurch
