On 1st January 2010 the standard rate of VAT will be changed from 15% to 17.5%
To change the rate within Lawbyte, on January 1st:
1. Go into Practice Maintenance (the first routine on the Practice Menu)
2. Select the Practice number, the Practice details will be displayed.
3. Change the 1st VAT rate at the bottom right from 15 to 17.5.
4. Click OK
Repeat for all VAT registered practices used on the system.
